Description:
BUDECORT 400 Rotacaps contain Budesonide 400 micrograms, a high-dose inhaled corticosteroid used to treat moderate to severe asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Budesonide works by reducing inflammation and swelling in the airways, helping to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, breathlessness, and chest tightness. These rotacaps are used as a maintenance therapy, not for emergency symptom relief.
How to Use:
BUDECORT 400 Rotacaps are designed for use only with a Rotahaler device.
Steps to use:

Open the Rotahaler and insert one Rotacap capsule into the chamber.

Twist the device to break open the capsule.

Exhale fully (away from the device).

Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and inhale deeply and forcefully.

Hold your breath for a few seconds, then exhale slowly.

Discard the empty capsule.

Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent oral thrush.
Use the medication regularly at the prescribed times—even if symptoms improve.
