BUDECORT 200 Rotacaps contain Budesonide 200 micrograms, a corticosteroid used to prevent and control symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Budesonide works by reducing inflammation, swelling, and mucus production in the airways, making breathing easier and helping to prevent asthma attacks. It is a preventive therapy, not meant for immediate relief of acute symptoms.
How to Use:
BUDECORT 200 Rotacaps must be used with a Rotahaler device.
Instructions:

Open the Rotahaler and insert one Rotacap into the chamber.

Twist the device to break the capsule and release the medication.

Exhale fully away from the device.

Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, inhale deeply and forcefully, and hold your breath for a few seconds.

Remove the device and exhale slowly.

Discard the empty capsule shell.

Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent oral infections like thrush.
Use the medicine exactly as prescribed, usually once or twice daily. Do not swallow the capsules.
