Description
BUDETROL 200 Rotacaps: Dual-Action Inhalation Therapy for Asthma & COPD
Description:
BUDETROL 200 Rotacaps are a combination inhalation medicine used for the long-term management of moderate to severe asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each rotacap contains two key active ingredients:
-
Budesonide (200 mcg): A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling in the airways.
-
Formoterol fumarate (6 mcg): A long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles of the airways, improving airflow and breathing.
This combination works synergistically to control symptoms like wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and breathlessness. It is a preventive (maintenance) medication and not meant for the relief of sudden asthma attacks.
How to Use:
BUDETROL 200 Rotacaps must be used only with a Rotahaler device.
-
Open the Rotahaler and insert one Rotacap into the chamber.
-
