Description
FORACORT FORTE Inhaler: Dual-Action Therapy for Asthma and COPD
Description:
FORACORT FORTE Inhaler is a combination inhaler used for the long-term treatment of moderate to severe asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains two active ingredients:
-
Budesonide (a corticosteroid) that reduces airway inflammation
-
Formoterol fumarate (a long-acting bronchodilator) that relaxes airway muscles and eases breathing
This dual-action formula provides both anti-inflammatory and bronchodilation effects, helping to prevent asthma attacks and manage chronic symptoms.
How to Use:
-
Shake the inhaler well before use.
-
Breathe out fully.
-
Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and inhale deeply while pressing down on the canister to release the dose.
-
Hold your breath for 5–10 seconds, then exhale slowly.
-
Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent oral infections.
Use the inhaler daily at the same time, even when symptoms are under control.
Do not use it for immediate relief during an asthma attack—carry a rescue inhaler (like salbutamol) for emergencies.
